In the run-up to the Impact Summit, CCG and GNI convened a range of pre-Summit multistakeholder engagements around the world. These include:

• side event at the 2025 Internet Governance Forum on Aspirations for the India AI Impact Summit in Oslo, Norway,
• Workshop at Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires,
• sessions at the Global Digital Public Infrastructure Summit in Cape Town,
• full-day convening on Operationalising AI Safety in New Delhi,
• unconference at Mozfest Barcelona, and
• workshop on Collaborative Pathways for AI Governance in Geneva.

From these dialogues, a central insight that has emerged is this: the most immediate impacts of AI are unfolding in multilingual, culturally diverse, resource-constrained, and high-inequality contexts. Therefore, we are happy to put forth the learnings from these events into an Insights Document that consolidates evidence-based insights emerging from the pre-Summit dialogues. This document brings together insights across seven principles, including five key themes from the Summit—Safe and Trusted AI, Democratising AI Resources, AI for Economic Growth and Social Good, Human Capital, and Inclusion for Social Empowerment—as well as two cross-cutting areas: Multistakeholderism and Global South Leadership and Resources.

These insights feed into our flagship convening on 17 February and contribute to discussions at the India AI Impact Summit and beyond.
