Shobhit is a Programme Officer at CCG. His interests lie in studying digitalisation and platformisation, and their mutual implications on social structures and processes. At CCG, he has contributed to research on platform governance in the Global Majority world, privacy & data protection and blockchain technical standards. 

Shobhit was previously a Research Fellow at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., New Delhi, where he studied regulations surrounding data protection and the use of AI in financial services. He has also worked as a legal advisor, advising enterprises on FinTech and financial regulations in India. Shobhit holds a B.A. L.LB. (Hons.) from the WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
