Article 105 of the Constitution of India, 1950 (as amended in 1979)
This provides the Constitutional basis for Parliamentary Privilege in India. The original Article equated the privileges of the Indian Parliament to those of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom as on 26.01.1950. This was subsequently amended to that of the Indian Parliament as it stood immediately before 20.06.1979.View More
