The Centre for Communication Governance at National Law University Delhi (CCG-NLUD) and the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford, organised the sixteenth edition of the South Asia Rounds of the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition from February 5 - 8, 2026, virtually.
The Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition began in 2008 at the University of Oxford to foster an interest in issues concerning media law, communication technologies, and freedom of expression. Since then, participation and diversity has increased in the competition, and the competition now hosts rounds in different regions around the world like South Asia, Asia-Pacific, South East Europe, North East Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Americas. CCG has been hosting the South Asia rounds of the Price Media Moot since 2013.
This year, twenty-six teams participated in the memorial rounds of the South Asia Rounds and twelve teams qualified to the oral rounds. Six teams from the South Asia Rounds qualified for the International Rounds which will take place in-person at the University of Oxford from 13-17 April 2026.

Overall Runner-up - National Law Institute University, Bhopal
Best Memorial - West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS)
Runners Up Memorial - Symbiosis Law School, SLS Pune
Best Oralist (Preliminary Rounds) - Ruth Sarah Abraham
Runner Up Oralist (Preliminary Rounds) - Saundarya D. Nair
Best Oralist in the Final - Saundarya D. Nair
